Saint Marcus of Sihnon
Marcus Von Dutten was a 22nd century Christian minister who preached widely in the early days of ‘Verse history. He was best known as an advocate of “Attendant Marriages” which called for bodies to be married shortly after death so as to be companions in the afterlife. His reasoning was that humanity had come so far from the home created by God during Genesis, that finding heaven would be a difficult task. A spirit’s search would be easier, he said, if someone was there to join the deceased on his or her journey.
Von Dutten’s suggestion was met with strong opposition, but still founded a small sect of the ever-branching Christian faith. Though uncommon today, some groups do follow Saint Marcus’ teachings and beliefs.
